As you can probably gather by now, I have a passion for filmmaking; though perhaps a better word would be obsession. From the directing and editing to the script and score, I love everything about movies. 

I grew up in the small town of Sequim, Washington. Ever since I was a kid, in one way or another, I've always loved telling stories. It's been a part of me for as long as I can remember. As much as I enjoyed watching movies growing up, it wasn't until I saw "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring" in 2001 that I realized I needed to be a filmmaker. Never before had a movie stirred such a wide range of emotions in me, and I've never watched a film the same way since. With editing, I was fascinated by the infinite amount of possibilities in which to tell a story, convey an emotion, or any combination those elements. I believe editing to be a form of directing in itself. 

At 19, I moved to L.A. to follow my dreams and continue my filmmaking pursuits. In addition to earning my B.F.A. in editing, I've also studied writing, acting (2 year Meisner training), and directing. I have experience in producing, graphic design/animation, and color correcting/grading as well.

I have over 10 years of editing experience and work in Final Cut Pro, Avid, and Adobe Premiere. I also have skills in Photoshop, After Effects, Audition, DaVinci Resolve, and Blender. I have experience editing music videos, feature and mini-length documentaries, short films, trailers, sizzles, and many other forms of media content. 

The brands I have worked with include but are not limited to: Wet Seal, Journeys, Fed Ex, Napster/Rhapsody, Starbucks, Steve Madden, and Marc Jacobs.
